Warning: May attribute negative connotations to men
There seemed to be no escaping Mitt Romney’s face this week. Not only was he on the cover of ‘The Economist’ but ‘Time’ also ran with him. For me though the week has been rife with stories about women in the workplace, an issue that is very close to my heart. As a result it comes as no surprise that when I read ‘The mommy track’ – the real reason why more women don’t rise to the top of companies- I was outraged.
Despite it being 2012 sexism in the workplace remains rampant which is distressing for a young female like myself wanting to break into the financial world.
